Application of building information model to building thermodynamic system and HVAC system design

Taking the building information model (BIM) as a basic point, studies the application of BIM technology to the architectural design of a comprehensive laboratory project in a campus. Analyses the feasibility of the optimization design method for building thermodynamic system based on BIM technology and building envelope trade-off option. Discusses the problems existed in energy consumption simulation based on BIM technology and the application of BIM technology to the design of building thermodynamic system and HVAC system. Analyses the development trend of BIM technology application at present.
